“Regent Seven Seas Cruises has carved a spot for itself in the luxury cruise market with its extravagant suites. When it launched Seven Seas Explorer in 2015, parent company CEO Frank Del Rio referred to her as “the most luxurious cruise ship ever built” saying he was targeting “the one-percenters.”
While until recent years suites on modern cruise ships often paled against those in hotels, Regent has led the way in bringing oversize and over-the-top accommodations to the high seas. Today Regent offered a preview of the 14 suite categories on Explorer’s sister, Seven Seas Splendor, set to hit the waves next February. It previously showed off its Regent Suite.”
